Fushimi Sake District — Breweries, Canals & a Real Tasting

About this experience
Fushimi is one of Japan's three great sake districts and I grew up here. We'll walk the canal district before it fills up, visit two working breweries — one that's been running since the 1600s — and taste straight from the vat at each. Then a side-by-side comparison of three local styles at my family's favourite standing bar. No audio guide, no group, no scheduled lunch stop. Just someone who's been drinking this stuff her whole life, and an afternoon that moves at whatever pace makes sense.
