Pokémon Card Hunting in Akihabara

About this experience
This is not a tour — it's a hunt. I'll take you through four shops in a deliberate order: which ones to hit first before the good cards disappear, which basement cases hold sealed 1st-edition boxes, which shop owners will pull from behind the counter if you ask the right way. The Japanese Pokémon card market is completely different from what you know from eBay — different print runs, different condition standards, different prices. I've been inside it for nine years. We end at the kissaten where Akihabara's serious collectors go after a good find.
